  • Google profile information: your name, email address, and avatar when you sign in with Google OAuth.
  • Content you create: flashcard decks, cards (including text and images), and how you organize them.
  • Study data: session history, scores, and progress statistics to track your learning.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide the flashcard service and all its features.
  • Track your study progress and display statistics.
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored using third-party cloud infrastructure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for any unauthorized access, data breaches, or data loss.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth: for authentication only. We receive your basic profile information and do not access any other Google data.
  • Supabase: for database hosting, authentication, and file storage.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as we deem necessary to operate the service. We may delete inactive accounts and associated data at our discretion. Deleted content may be retained in backups for a period of time before being permanently removed.

6. Your Choices

You may stop using the service at any time. If you wish to request deletion of your data, you may contact us, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. However, we do not guarantee the ability to export data or fully remove all copies from backups and logs.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of plsflash.me after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
